The STR82WORK Curriculum is a comprehensive, 9-week workforce readiness program designed to empower youth and adults with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in today’s job market. This structured program combines in-person and online (Zoom) sessions covering self-assessment, career planning, personal values, overcoming barriers, job search strategies, resume and cover letter development, applying to jobs, workplace soft skills, conflict management, ethics, and interview preparation. Through interactive lectures, hands-on workshops, assessments, and real-world application exercises, participants develop the tools to navigate the employment process successfully. The program culminates in a mock interview, final exam, and a graduation event including a job fair and certificate issuance, ensuring participants are job-ready and connected to potential employers.
